Room 244.
We're pretty new to this whole blogging thing but we wanted a way to document this year. It all started one day at target. We found a great little dry erase board for just $1.50. So, obviously, we had to get it. Little did we know it would be one of the best investments we've made. It's hung right by our door and always has interesting pictures or notes written on it. For example...
This gives a brief description of our room.
Anna Katherine is our beauty queen. But really, she's our Miss Greek Week representative. Don't worry, you'll hear much more about that as it gets closer(the other roomies are just a little excited about it.)
Schelin is our motherly roomie. She's obsessed with "*gasp* Babiessss!" and honey mustard.
Brooke is in love with her cat, dasher, and she loves anything that has to do with kittens. She also wants to major in love.
Michelle is also a big fan of cats. She's currently working on saving the world by solving world hunger. Also, she can't reach the top shelf in our kitchen.
This is what inspired us to start a blog. We can't promise that it will be very interesting, informative, or consistent, but we think the things that happen in 244 are pretty dang funny.
The reason behind our title:
There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven:
2 a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot,3 a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
6 a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
We literally laugh about 90% of the time we're together. The Lord has blessed us with this time together to laugh a lot and we couldn't be more thankful. We hope this blog brings joy and laughter to you, as well.
Oh, and by the way, Happy 20th Birthday Michelle!
Way to go room 244. You are beautiful women of God that are sharing the best side of life, JOY!
